In Lviv, like no other city, they try to adhere to, revive and preserve Ukrainian traditions. And traditionally within the framework of Easter celebration in Lviv there is a Festival of Easter eggs.
On the Museum Square (near the Dominican Cathedral), the Pysanka Gallery is open to the sky, where fifty-five-meter-long pysanka author's pens will be presented. Every year, the Easter Egg Festival attracts new artists, amateurs and professionals alike, to create an Easter atmosphere.
In the gallery of Easter eggs, along with the exposition there will be an Easter art workshop. Everyone, adults and children alike, will be able to take part in workshops to create traditional Easter eggs and candles, as well as Easter symbols.
Also within the framework of the Easter Egg Festival is a charity project "Good Cause", which raises funds for those who really need it.
