Our Ivasyuk - Concert in memory of Volodymyr Ivasyuk.
4 March at 19.30 - the Opera House will host a concert dedicated to the legendary Ukrainian composer, one of the founders of Ukrainian pop music - ‘Our Ivasyuk’.
On the 76th anniversary of Volodymyr Ivasyuk's birth, the Lviv Opera House will host a performance of the composer's favourite songs by a variety symphony orchestra, a choir and soloists.
All of this will be complemented by a video sequence that will broadcast moments from Volodymyr Ivasyuk's life.
The audience will come together to sing their favourite songs to the accompaniment of the Ukrainian choir TREMBITA:
Oksana Mukha, Pavlo Tabakov, Viktoriia Yashchenko, Marta Malska, NÁNA, and Ihor Hutsailuk.
The conductor and artistic director of the project is People's Artist of Ukraine Mykola Kulyk.
By the way, Volodymyr Ivasyuk is a Ukrainian composer, performer, and poet. He is one of the founders of Ukrainian pop music. Among his famous songs are ‘Chervona Ruta’, ‘Vodohrai’, ‘Ballad of Two Violins’, ‘I'll Go to the Far Mountains’, etc.
