Leopolis Jazz Fest announced the festival's award in 2019. We are pleased to announce that the IX International Jazz Festival Leopolis Jazz Fest will be held in Lviv from June 26 to June 30.

The number of great jazz with which he collaborated can not be counted. In the 60's he played with Dizzy Gillespie, then with Freddie Hubbard, Stanley Tarrantin, Milt Jackson and Buddy Rich. In the early 70's, the pianist worked with Youssef Latif, Ron Carter. In the 80's he collaborated with the great saxophonist Sten Goetz and in those same years became co-founder of the Quartet "Sphere", which performed the music of the great Telonius Monk. Kenny Barron's first album was released in 1974 and since then he has been released as a leader.

One of the most awaited groups - Snarky Puppy, Three Grammy Award Winners (Best R & B Performance in 2014, Best Instrumental Album in 2016 and 2017) will also feature on the stage.
Snarky Puppy is a team of up to 25 highly skilled young musicians, each of which has solo projects, many of them working with stars (such as Erykah Badu, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar and DAngelo). The band was founded by the bassist and composer Michael League in 2003 and since then has released more than ten albums and has repeatedly won the polls by readers of prestigious jazz magazines Downbeat and Jazztimes in the Group of the Year category.
For the first time in Ukraine, June 27, the incredible Canadian singer and pianist Diana Kroll will perform on the Leopolis Jazz Fest 2019. All these years, according to a poll of the festival, she remained the most anticipated headliner.
